Ellen Tracy
Founded by Herb Gallen in 1949, Ellen Tracy was originally a manufacturer of blouses. In 1962, Gallen hired recent college graduate Linda Allard as a design assistant. Two years later, Allard was named Director of Design and moved the brand into sportswear. A new Ellen Tracy began to evolve.
